How do Polyglots Learn Languages
Recently I gave a lecture at Principia College which answers a lot of basic questions about polyglots or people who learn significantly more languages than others:
What do these people do differently from regular language learners?
How to find time and motivation to learn foreign languages?
What are great language-learning tools that many polyglots use but that are not widely known? The majority are free or cheap - they are unknown outside of polyglot circles because they don’t have a marketing budget.
Are all “Youtube Polyglots” fake? What is realistic?
What does the polyglot community do? How’bout the events?
